Don’t make history, Change the future

A not-to-be missed inspirational evening on Sunday December 2nd at St John’s.

The evening worship gathering will be taking on a bit of a different feel! Ruth Hassall has been working with Matt Summerfield of Urban Saints over the last few years to develop a new discipleship resource. The tour was launched at Bradford Cathedral on November 7th, and is coming to St John’s on 2nd December.  Here are the details:

Can an event change the future? No.

But people can. People just like you.

Not convinced? Then join Matt Summerfield (Chief Executive, Urban Saints) and Ruth Hassall (Author of Growing Young Leaders) for a lively, fun and inspirational evening where you’ll dare to think again. You won’t regret it.

The “Don’t make history, Change the future” is an evening lasting approximately 90 minutes which includes:

  • An inspirational message from Matt on living a life that changes the future – a baton carrying, future shaping life.
  • Practical tips from Ruth on how to develop intentional disciple-making relationships

Plus worship, videos, refreshments and resource ideas

And you’ll discover how a commitment to “Live Life 1-2-3” really could change the future!

“Live Life 1-2-3 calls us away from the feel-good formulae of consumer Christianity, into the wild adventure of radical contemporary discipleship.”
Pete Greig (24-7 Prayer & Alpha International)

“Jesus formed us into church and family. Live Life 1-2-3 is an imaginative and practical way to engage with the key issue of whole life discipleship. It’s a simple, stretching way of sharpening and supporting each other. The best thing about it is that it will work!”
Andy Croft, Soul Survivor

This event is aimed at adults and young people alike and every person who attends will be given a free copy of Matt’s new book – “Don’t make history, change the future”.
