The Camp Fire Ring

More than 100 Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers from St John’s together with their leaders are going on a special Bank Holiday camp to Blackmore Guide Centre in the Malverns from 4th to 6th May.Blackmore Badge
We shall also be joined by girls from Quinton groups and from St John’s Macclesfield.

Blackmore Barn

The Barn

This is first time that all the groups at St John’s have organised a holiday together and is set to be a very exciting adventure. The Brownies will stay in the Mills Holiday House and the Guides in the Barn; and the Rangers will sleep in the Rambler, a log cabin; or there is the option of camping out, and even bivouacking. The Rainbows are coming for the day on Sunday.

As well as lots of activities and eating there will also be a Promise Space where the girls will be challenged to reflect on the meaning of the promise they made when they joined. The promise has a faith element, a service element, a ‘looking out for each other’ element and a ‘looking after our world’ element.

The guide leaders would value your prayer support for this new venture including all girls in the St John’s units.
