Responsible Capitalism – the new Civil Society and the opportunity for prosperity to empower the poorest.

The Speaker is Lord Hastings of Scarisbrick CBE, Global Head of Corporate Citizenship, KPMG International.
Michael Hastings has enjoyed a varied career working in both private and public sectors. One of his roles was in the BBC where he was the first Head of Corporate Social Responsibility.
In 2010 he was a leading advisor to the Chatham House enquiry into the Future Role of the UK in Foreign Affairs.
Recent appointments include becoming Vice President of UNICEF in 2011 and in 2012 he became the Vice-Chair of the Word Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Role of Civil Society.

There will be with an opportunity to connect with others before breakfast is served at 7.45am. The speakers and led prayer will follow at 8.10am.

Cost: £17. This is a subsidised figure due to the generosity of BHSF (Birmingham Hospital Saturday Fund) in paying for the hire cost of the Banqueting Suite. If there is any shortfall ChaplaincyPlus will bear this, but if people feel able to contribute more – thank you. If £17 is difficult please do contact Chris Dinsdale as we don’t want anyone to be put off on grounds of cost.
