The Morgans go to Malawi

The Morgans are off to Malawi again soon.Margaret and Simon Morgan 2011

Simon and Margaret Morgan are former members of St John’s who now live in Aberdyfi, Wales.  They have been to Malawi twice before with Birmingham Diocese through the Malawi-Birmingham Partnership.  This is their third trip.  Margaret gives us the details below and asks for our prayers:

“I leave on 10th May to do a month’s tropical medicine update in Blantyre Hospital.

“Simon joins me in June for two months in Lilongwe with Partners in Hope (American NGO) where I have a three-month locum in community clinics, and Simon will do as yet unspecified work for the charity. He also has a few tasks to do for the Birmingham Diocese.

“Simon will be returning earlier than me as he is now Lay Leader in our church in Aberdyfi which is currently being renovated.

“Please pray for those who have attended an Alpha course in the Pub this year and that we may know God’s leading in making plans for the future. We are considering cafe church, ladies lunches, mens breakfasts, musical evenings. Thanks.”

The Morgans have a Malawi blog with their latest updates.
