Phillipines Typhoon Urgent Appeal

Map of the PhilippinesApproximately 4.3 million people have had their lives torn apart in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, likely to have been the strongest typhoon ever to hit land, with untold loss of life.

What can we do to help?

The International Christian Fellowship have arranged for a drop off centre to be manned between 9am to 5pm Monday 11th November to Friday 15th November and on Sunday 17th November at the St Francis Centre, Glenside Street, Woodgate Valley. They will be accepting donations of any goods, used and unwanted clothing etc.

You can also give online via the Disasters Emergency Committee.

The Disasters Emergency Committee is made up of 14 member agencies which provide aid after a disaster in one of the world’s poorer countries. These include Christian Aid, Tearfund and Worldvision.
